Member Expectations
As we assess applications, we seek to ensure that each member is a good fit for the group, and vice versa. We thoughtfully review all applications to preserve the trust and camaraderie that has been cultivated within The Spark Collective. We ask that members adhere to the following commitments:
- Attend at least 4 out of 6 Spark Collective Gatherings each year.
- Hold to a Christian worldview as the foundation of your faith.*
- Check all other labels at the door (e.g. political affiliation, race, ethnicity, education, socio-economic status, etc.).
- Commit to lift one another up in prayer.
- Be a resource for one another.
- Withhold judgment and assume the best of other members.
- Hold all information in confidence and create an environment free of gossip and drama.
- Resolve any conflict in a healthy manner that reflects Biblical guidance.
*There are various denominations represented in The Spark Collective. While there may be faith elements we disagree on, we seek to align on the foundational tenants of the Christian faith.
Become a Member
If you are interested in joining our Montgomery County chapter, please fill out the application below. Once it has been reviewed, we will contact you to arrange a video meeting, then coordinate a time for you to attend an upcoming Spark Collective meeting and experience the group for yourself. If both parties decide to move forward with the membership process, you will receive a link to pay your annual dues, as well as the upcoming meeting schedule, and member contact information. If you live elsewhere and/or are interested in leading a new chapter, send us a note here.
